Our reviews, and what they do and do not tell you
Solar Panel Funding, our UK parent company, is rated 4.9 out of 5 from more than 7,075 reviews on Trustpilot.
Read this before you weigh those reviews. They are reviews of the
United Kingdom business, written by UK homeowners, about UK
installations carried out by UK installers under UK consumer protection law. They tell you
that the people behind this website have run a solar referral business for eight years and have
been rated well for it. They tell you nothing whatsoever about how an installation in Cape Coral
or Bridgeport will go.
We launched in the United States in 2026. We do not yet have a meaningful volume of US reviews, and we are not going to pad the page with stock photography and invented first names while we wait. When we have them, they will appear here with the platform they came from, the date, the state and a link to the review at source.

Solar Funding USA is the American arm of Solar Panel Funding Ltd,
which has been helping homeowners find routes into solar in the United Kingdom since
2018 and is rated 4.9/5 from 7,075+ Trustpilot
reviews. Those are UK reviews of the UK company. Why we say so.
What to check on any US solar company
- State contractor license number, published and verifiable. Momentum Solar publishes: NYC 2118231-DCWP, NJ 13VH05539000, CT HIC.0646323, FL CVC57036.
- Reviews on a platform that verifies purchase, and read the one and two star ones first. That is where the pattern is.
- Whether the company is the installer or a referral service. Both are legitimate. Being unclear about which is not. We are a referral service.
- What happens to the warranty if the finance company fails. Sunnova, Solar Mosaic, SunPower, PosiGen and Freedom Forever have all filed for bankruptcy protection since 2024. This is a real question, not a hypothetical one.
- Whether they still claim a 30 percent federal tax credit. If they do, in 2026, they are either not keeping up or not being straight with you.
